Music Recording & Production Workshop
At Muse for Life in Sandy Springs Atlanta, we offer special workshops in music recording and production. Participants within this course are introduced to the various elements used within both the recording and production of music. First, students learn how to listen artistically and with a refined ear to the subtleties of various major recordings throughout history. Second, students learn how to apply these listening skills practically within editing and mastering activities. Finally, students work collectively toward creating finished products from beginning to end. Beginning with setting up & working with microphones & various line settings, continuing on into the recording process with multiple tracks and takes, and, finally, ending with the editing, mastering and mix-down process.
