Composition & Arrangement Workshops
At Muse for Life in Sandy Springs Atlanta, we offer special workshops in music composition and arrangement. This special series of classes and workshops introduces the student to the various forms and styles of composition used within different genres ofmusic through different time periods. While exposing the participants to various structural and theoretical ideas through from and analysis, the course also introduces practical tools that give students confidence within a composer’s mind set. By learning to think compositionally, the participants in this course learn the various elements that are involved in both the orchestration and arrangement of pieces. Students learn how to apply these concepts to both solo instrumentation and within multi-instrumental contexts.
